Stonehill College Students To Spend Spring Break Helping Others
2014 Mar 7Many Stonehill College students will be spending their spring break week helping those in need as part of the school's H.O.P.E. Alternative Spring Break Program. The following local residents will be traveling the week of March 9th to Wheeling, West Virginia where they will be working with the Appalachian Institute at Wheeling Jesuit University. While there, they will work on site at its Fresh Air Farms and learn about social justice issues ranging from mountain top removal, fracking, and addiction which are prevalent in the local community.
