Meagan Kollias Takes Part in New York Externship Program at Stonehill

2016 Apr 14

Recently, several Stonehill students, including Meagan Kollias, traveled to New York City for the NY Externship Program. Students stayed with Stonehill alumni and parents and visited with alumni and friends of the College who work at various companies in the New York area to learn about different industries and career paths available to them. One stop this year included a visit to SONY Music where long-time friend of the College Carmine Coppola works.

The New York City Externship Program is an intense week-long networking experience focusing on career exploration. Each year, a small group of students (sophomores, juniors and seniors) are selected to travel to New York City and spend the week meeting with prestigious, successful alumni in a range of professional settings to gain insight into a variety of career opportunities possible for students after graduation from Stonehill. Hosts offer advice and share their opinions on selecting majors, perfecting resumes, finding internships, job searching, graduate school and much more.

This year's group included Malik Voyard '18, Emmalie Snyder '17, Madison McGlone '18, Yusif Samudeen '18, Ahmed Hassan '17, Luis Rodriguez '16, Christaly Torres Pena '18, and Meagan Kollias '17.
