Stonehill College students were recently inducted into Lambda Epsilon Sigma, the institution's academic honor society. The organization recognizes outstanding juniors and seniors who have demonstrated an excitement for both learning and sharing their knowledge.

Twenty-one students participated in the 2024 National Model United Nations Conference in New York City from Saturday, March 23 to Friday, March 29.

Jessika Crockett-Murphy, a member of Stonehill College's Class of 2024 from Marshfield, Massachusetts, was recently named a recipient of the San Damiano Servant Leadership Award by Franciscan Mission Service. She will accept the honor at the World Care Annual Benefit and Celebration, a gathering in Washington, D.C., for social justice-minded Catholics.

Five students recently participated in Stonehill College's Learning Inside Out Network (LION) program in Armenia.

David Satkowski '23 received Stonehill College's 2023 Peter R. D'Agostino Prize for Excellence in History, given annually to a history major whom faculty determine to have written the best senior thesis.

Morgheim received Stonehill College's 2023 Thomas C. Clarke Award, which honors a graduating history major who demonstrates a commitment to the study of history, the principles of a liberal arts education, and the mission and values of the institution.

More than 100 students were recently inducted into Lambda Epsilon Sigma, Stonehill College's honor society. The organization recognizes outstanding juniors and seniors who have demonstrated academic excellence, provided evidence of a thirst for knowledge that goes beyond the classroom, contributed to the intellectual development of our community, and exhibited an ability to communicate effectively.

Six Stonehill students recently competed at the American Statistical Association DataFest, an annual hack-a-thon. The Skyhawks came in first place for Best Use of External Data and were honored as runners up for Best Insight and Best Visualization.

Stonehill College's DECA chapter recently participated in the International Career Development Conference (ICDC), held in Orlando, Florida, from April 22 to 25, 2023. Seventeen students from the Leo J. Meehan School of Business competed against over 100 schools in events designed to prepare them to become leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, accounting, finance, hospitality and management.

The Stonehill College Dance Team recently competed at the College Classic National Championship in Orlando, Florida. The Skyhawks took home the first-place national title for the Division I Hip Hop category. They also ranked fourth in both the Pom and Jazz categories.

Students from the Skyhawk Investment Group, a Stonehill College program that enhances participants' critical thinking and financial analytics skills through hands-on experiences, placed first in the 2023 Van Berkom John Molson Small-Cap Case Competition, held on March 25 and 26, 2023, in Montreal. Gavin Euksuzian '23, Brandon Kramer '23, Daniel Sammarco '23 and Devon Walsh '23 competed against experienced MBAs and senior undergraduates from leading business schools in Canada to evaluate XPEL, a producer of protection film, and Sleep Country Canada, a mattress retailer, during the rigorous stock analysis event.

More than two dozen students have been inducted into Alpha Beta Gamma, Stonehill's chapter of Kappa Delta Pi, the international honor society for education majors.

Stonehill College is proud to recognize the students named to the Dean's List this semester. To qualify for this honor, students must have a semester grade point average of 3.50 or better and must have successfully completed all courses for which they were registered.

Gina Herosian '23 was recently named a recipient of the Mathematics Education Trust Prospective PK-6 Elementary Teacher Course Work Scholarship.
