Stonehill College

This semester, a total of 144 Stonehill students are studying abroad during the Spring 2015 semester in locations throughout the world. Recently named one of the top study abroad institutions in the nation by the Institute of International Education, Stonehill has more than 200 study abroad programs in 35 countries which students can choose from.

The following people recently were initiated into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation's oldest and most selective collegiate honor society for all academic disciplines.

Working with three students from Florida International University, finance major Daniel Doherty '15 recently competed in the Citi Mobile Challenge, which brings together the most talented and creative developers and designers to create cutting-edge applications for Citi's Digital Banking Platforms. Citibank is the largest bank holding company in the U.S.

The SAA works to "build a bridge" from students to alumni through student participation in programs and events.

Stage Manager For Stonehill Theatre Company's Fall Production

The Sylvia Donaldson Society was created by students Michelle Wozniak '15 and Michelle Dander '15, both of whom are Political Science & International Studies majors at Stonehill. To help attract more females to careers in public affairs, the student-run Society will sponsor large-scale events, as well as provide small group programs, panels and workshops exclusively for its members.

Six Stonehill students enrolled in the College's 3+2 Dual Degree Engineering Program have begun their studies at Notre Dame this semester.

Two Stonehill College neuroscience majors recently presented at the renowned Lake Arrowhead Sleep Science Conference. They were just two of three undergraduate students worldwide invited to the conference.

Conklin has been selected to participate in a summer internship program with the National Federation of Republican Women (NFRW), one of largest women's political organizations in the nation.

To qualify for the Dean's List, students must have a semester grade point average of 3.50 or better and must have completed successfully all courses for which they were registered.
