At the recent Scholars Celebration at Stonehill College, Hopedale native Marissa Beaudoin was named the Marketing Student of the Year in recognition of her outstanding academic achievement in the marketing program. Beaudoin is a member of the Class of 2014.

At the recent Scholars Celebration at Stonehill College, Mount Vernon native Tate Molaghan was named the Management Student of the Year in recognition of her outstanding academic achievement in the management program. Molaghan is a member of the Class of 2014.

At the recent Scholars Celebration at Stonehill College, Hopedale native Antonino Gentile was named the International Business Student of the Year in recognition of his outstanding academic achievement in the international business program. Gentile is a member of the Class of 2014.

At the recent Scholars Celebration at Stonehill College, Nashua native Gabrielle Cole was named the Biochemistry Student of the Year in recognition of her outstanding academic achievement in the biochemistry program. Cole is a member of the Class of 2014.

Students inducted into honor societies.

The Lambda Epsilon Sigma is Stonehill's Honor Society. The purpose of the society is to recognize and promote scholarship. Juniors and seniors who have attained a 3.5 cumulative grade point average are invited to apply for consideration. Acceptance into the society is based on evidence of academic achievement, of a pursuit of learning that extends beyond the classroom environment and of an ability to communicate effectively through writing. A total of 50 Stonehill College students will work with 25 faculty members on a variety of research projects this summer through the Stonehill Undergraduate Research Experience (SURE) program. The program provides students with an opportunity to perform significant, publishable research under the guidance of an experienced faculty researcher.
